Nancy, with the shifting housing market, some sellers have had to drop their price. The goal is to cut the price of homes to where it feels like a great value and gets multiple parties interested. It's still a sellers market. Sellers are advised to drop their list price if their home has been on the market for several weeks with no serious interest. But even with price reductions, it's still a seller's market and could result in bidding wars.
